We currently have a variety of shifts (full-time and part-time) available at the Marklund Philip's Center (previously called Marklund Children's Home) in Bloomingdale, IL.
Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that serves infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.
With three residential locations - the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, the Marklund Philip Center in Bloomingdale, and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin, it is currently home to nearly 174 clients.
It is a Day School offering Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children and young adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum.
It is a skilled nursing unit for medically fragile children and adults, and a developmental training center for adults who need assistance in managing their disabilities.

The Caregiver is responsible for working directly with Marklund clients (residents) as outlined in their individualized plans.
Provide expert client care:
personal hygiene, bathing, range of motion, skin assessment, feeding, dressing, incontinence care, brace/splint application, oral motor programming, NDT positioning, chest physio-therapy, vital signs.
Transport clients to and from day programs, activities, appointments and/or 911 transports.
