Barton Staffing Solutions
Our client, a family-owned machine manufacturing company located in Bloomingdale, IL is looking for a Controller to manage their Accounting Department.
The qualified candidate will provide information, primarily managerial and financial in nature, about all company activities to management.
The compensation for this role will be based on experience, in the range of $130,000 to $160,000.
Controller
Job Description:
Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Includes working to collect customer invoices and reconcile short pays.
Maintain General Ledger and produce monthly financial statements including analysis of operating results.
Work with Human Resources Administrator to monitor and improve employee benefits while containing costs.
Generate bi-monthly Salary Payroll.
Manage Property/Casualty & Worker Compensation insurance programs including solicitation of quotes.
Oversee computer system maintenance and development:
Lead the Kinetic TeamPromote improvements in Network operations.
Provide analysis of part and job production results.
Pay monthly Illinois Sales and Use Tax.
Work with bank to maintain and improve treasury function.
Reconcile monthly bank statements.
Review monthly transactions with scrap dealer.
Work with outside CPA on various audits.
Responsible for telephone system.
Coordinates annual physical inventory counting and reconciliation.
Reviews open jobs to determine if any need to be completed/closed.
