We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our Accounting Department, providing comprehensive managerial and financial insights into company operations.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in ERP system-based accounting functions.
Strong computer skills, preferably with Epicor experience.
Familiarity with Property/Casualty Insurance.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
JOB
Responsibilities:
Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including the collection of customer invoices and reconciliation of short pays.
Maintain the General Ledger and generate monthly financial statements, complete with operational analysis.
Manage Property/Casualty & Workers Compensation Insurance programs, including obtaining quotes.
Oversee computer system maintenance and development initiatives, such as leading the Kinetic Team and advocating for improvements in Network operations.
Conduct analysis of part and job production results.
Handle monthly Illinois Sales and Use Tax payments.
Collaborate with banks to enhance treasury functions.
Reconcile monthly bank statements and review transactions with scrap dealers.
Liaise with external CPAs for various audits.
Coordinate annual physical inventory counting and reconciliation.
Review open jobs to determine completion/closure requirements.
