Job Description Marklund in Bloomingdale is hiring a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Would you like to make a difference in the lives of others and be appreciated for what you do? We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the full-time position of Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP).
The QIDP will work out of our Marklund Philip Center in Bloomingdale, IL and serves as Case Manager for our residents and is responsible for insuring active treatment services for all residents, supervising facility active treatment programs.
Work closely with parents, departments and agencies to insure services are received in a timely manner.
The hours for this position are 10am-6pm Monday-Friday with 1 weekend per month.
Flexibility is required for outings, appointments, groups, and events.
Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.
Who We Are:
Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.
With three residential locations - the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, the Marklund Philip Center in Bloomingdale, and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents.
The Marklund Day School offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children and young adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on the autism spectrum.
In addition, our Community Day Services program at each site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside at Marklund and those who come in from the community.

Essential Job Functions:
Insure delivery of quality care by coordinating and evaluations of the total life integration services provided.
Develop, train, and implement Individual Program Plans for each resident on caseload.
Hold Interdisciplinary Team Meetings annually or more frequently as needed to review progress/regression, make needed changes in resident programs.
Complete comprehensive quarterly summaries for each resident, monitor progress or regression in goals including continuous data evaluations each month.
Supervision of CNAs regarding implementation of active treatment programming and documentation.
Hands-on care of residents, training staff on implementing goals, and running goals on residents.
Attend meetings regarding residents, including appointments or conferences with parents as needed.
Obtain any items needed by resident including but not limited to clothing, equipment, and toys.
Attend outings or special events as needed.
Maintain facility active treatment program in compliance with IDPA/IDPH regulations by completing necessary paperwork and training.
Create/change 24 hour schedules for residents as needed.
Monitor, implement, and/or change any and all behavior programs and safety devices as necessary.
In-service appropriate staff members on goals, positioning, active treatment, and equipment weekly.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
